Halfway through a 2 hour mix on Sunday, Stess and I were alerted to news that legendary RnB artist Teena Marie had passed away. Not expecting to have to do a tribute mix on the fly, I was completely unprepared, but we tried to do something to pay respect to her memory by playing the tracks I did have, alongside some by her mentor Rick James.
