The great US/UK DJ Mix Exchange : DJ Step One & DJ A to the L

The homie DJ Step One holds down the reins of Kane FM’s in Guildford, just outside London, on Sunday nights. He recently invited me to contribute a guest mix to this show, and I, in return asked him to contribute one for UGR.
And so it came to pass this weekend that the mixes aired within a day of each other. Step One’s mix on Saturday’s UGR was very well received, and I was very pleased with how my mix turned out, as I listened to his show on Sunday before heading out to Diggin’ In The Crates.

Digging some of the music choices here its not all main stream stuff that you hear over played on the radio a thousand times. when you do the next one (hint) keep with that late eightes and nineties theme great era. I got a challnege for you try putting together a show or mix with just hip hop ballads (i.e. i need love, left me lonely mc shan, and the one cut heavy d just to name a few holla
