This may well turn into a weekly posting. Check out the audio below for a mix of NBA-related beats, UK stuff, phone calls from crew members, carcrash mixing, and general tomfoolery regarding MC Ren. Yes.

The Underground Railroad, live on WVFS 89.7 (10/18/08)
Two weeks ago (the same weekend I did the carcrash stuff with E-Zone on Blazin’) I did the same thing the day before on WVFS, only with more of a variety of tracks as opposed to the West Coast Blazin’ set.
Two hours of nothing but classics… props to Stess and E-Zone for letting me come through and spin on the show. I’ll be doing this on the first Sunday of every month from now on during Stess’s Diggin’ In The Crates show (Blazin’ 102.3 – 8pm to 10pm) and will be tossing the audio up here a day or two later. Alternatively you can listen live HERE.
While DJ Acrojam, Isreal and E&J absconding to Miami to take in the ‘Rock The Bells’ concert it was left to Jay-C and myself to hold down The Underground Railroad in Tallahassee (with help from Stone, Kam and Jeff).
Two DJs (fully Seratoed-up), two spoken word performers, and EIGHTEEN emcees spread across two production rooms, broadcasted live to Tallahassee (and the world) for 3 crazy hours on Saturday night, marking the beginning of a memorable Memorial Day weekend. (Pics to follow, once the email flood starts…)
Now that we’ve got the cheesy post title out of the way, lets talk brass tacks…
Last night I spun live on Florida State University’s radio station, WVFS 89.7FM. The invitation came to me from one Amond Jackson, newly-installed host of the station’s Saturday evening Hiphop show, Underground Railroad, and if the temptation to spin classic 80’s and 90’s Hiphop for a minute wasn’t enough, the fact that later in the show I’d be rocking the tables for some of Tally’s hottest underground emcees made the decision a no-brainer.
