Contradictory Hiphop opinion, with a bitter and twisted attitude…
This week on the show we had Rampage from Flip Mode Squad sharing the hosting duties with us. We did a shortened interview on air, but you can check the full 20 minute interview by clicking here. Obviously with Rampage being in the house we went heavy on Flip Mode-related joints for the first half of the mix, with the second half being almost entirely dictated by the requests of the listeners.

Diggin’ In The Crates, live on Blazin’ 102.3 (01/15/12)
Here are the last couple of week’s worth of my DITC mixes… slacked up on the updates last week. Slapped wrists all round. Shouts to everyone who has gone nuts on the requests during the past couple of weeks – phones, twitter, facebook and text messages have really started blowing up during the show. Love it.
I really had no plan for tonight’s show, until on the way to the station DJ Riz’s infamous ‘Lost In Brooklyn’ mixtape came up on random play on the Ipod… so the task was then set to attempt to recreate the best of this great mixtape live, with no safety net. It’s definitely not a patch on the original, but at short notice and diggin’ in the crates as I went rather than having everything pre-prepped, it’s not bad. Check for that in the 2nd segment, right after Kim D’s intro.
Following the sad, and entirely too early, passing of Heavy D, it was only right that we dedicated a show to the legendary overweight lover. Rest in peace.
